Greetings to the residents of Charlotte, community leaders, partners, friends, and family,

It is an honor and privilege to serve as President of the Beta Rho Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. — the Sigmas of Charlotte.

For more than 75 years, the men of Beta Rho Sigma have proudly served Charlotte and the surrounding communities while advancing our core principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. Today, with more than 300 active members, our chapter is a diverse brotherhood of professional, educated, and service-minded men committed to making a positive and lasting impact.

Our commitment to service is reflected through our Social Action, Bigger and Better Business, and Education programs, where we promote civic engagement, health awareness, financial literacy, support for Black-owned businesses, and educational opportunities throughout our community.

We are especially proud of our Sigma Beta Club, where we mentor and develop young men through leadership, education, service, and brotherhood. We also remain committed to developing the next generation of Sigma leaders through our advising and support of undergraduate chapters at Johnson C. Smith University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Our Fraternity's founders envisioned Phi Beta Sigma as an organization that would be "a part of" the general community rather than "apart from" the general community. That vision continues to guide how the men of Beta Rho Sigma engage with the city of Charlotte.

We are not simply an organization that serves in Charlotte — we are part of Charlotte.

As President, I am committed to strengthening our partnerships, expanding our community impact, enhancing the brotherhood experience, and ensuring that Beta Rho Sigma continues to be a trusted leader throughout our community.
