Overview
Rooted in Sigma's emphasis on academic achievement, the Education program delivers scholarships, conferences, college fairs, tutoring, mentoring, and Adopt-A-School partnerships across Charlotte.
How it began
Formalized at the 1945 Conclave in St. Louis, Sigma's Education program has grown into one of the fraternity's largest service pillars.
Our initiatives
- Annual Scholarship Program for graduating Charlotte-area seniors
- College Fair and admissions guidance for local high schools
- Adopt-A-School mentoring partnerships with CMS campuses
- Tutoring and academic coaching for middle and high school students
- FAFSA and financial-aid workshops for families
